e middle and flared on both ends. A fluid's velocity will increase and a fluid's pressure will decrease while passing through the construction. "
this is good and bad.
the first image is my paper aeroplane, crashed, on the ground, 6 floors below my room. it was developed based on a model that my grandfather (an aeronautical engineer fro lockheed martin, who worked on Apollo 13) tought me about balast and stability. apparently it didnt work under my specifical conditions. i threwed it and it didnt werked. the problems where that i was throwing against the draft.
but sometimes, venturi works. when, you might ask? well, a bong would be a good example. this is a random image of a girl (found from image googling "bong") using a bong and demonstrating how venturi works to our colletive advantage. in laymans terms (as thats all i understand) its basically about pressure through a defined region, so that when contrained beyond the prior definition, to accomodate lack in width, throughput is increased. the same volume is transmitted but with more force and less diameter. thats why if your hot, open two windows in your house, then stand in a key door betwixt the two, then feel the difference if you step a foot forewards or backwards to prove venturi's theorum.
